SMS Consent
SMS Opt‑In Method – SRO Marketing
This page explains how SRO Marketing collects consent to send SMS text messages and how those messages are used.
How Users Reach the Opt‑In Form
Consumers reach the SMS opt‑in form by visiting the SRO Marketing webinar registration page:
https://sromarketing.com/webinar
Traffic to this page comes from marketing campaigns, emails, and direct links shared with individuals interested in educational webinars hosted by SRO Marketing.
Voluntary Phone Number Submission
- Entering a phone number is voluntary.
- The phone number field is clearly labeled and users choose whether to provide their number.
- Users may still view the page without submitting their information.
Explicit SMS Consent
- The SMS consent checkbox is unchecked by default.
- Users must take an affirmative action to opt in.
- The checkbox disclosure clearly states that users agree to receive email and SMS text messages from SRO Marketing, including educational information, event reminders, and updates.
- The disclosure also states that message and data rates may apply and that users can unsubscribe at any time.
How SMS Messages Are Triggered
After a user submits the form and opts in:
- SMS messages may be sent for:
- Webinar reminders (before the event)
- Event updates or changes
- Follow‑up information related to the webinar content
- Responses to inquiries initiated by the user
Messages are sent on a one‑to‑one basis and are directly related to the user’s webinar registration or inquiry.
Opt‑Out and Help
- Users may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message.
- Users may request assistance by replying HELP.
